Illustrations For Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls
This illustration was made for the Oboe from the Great Beyond album cover. It is an inspired parody of Meat Loafs' Bat Out of Hell album cover. I had planned this layout well before his passing. It is in reference to the films' cover and parody of the "I’d Do Anything for Love" music video. The setting of the illustration serves as foreshadowing to the films' climax. Where our protagonist, Onyx, has a epic battle against Bartok, as hell opens up between the ground of the cemetery.
